have a new scanner ws1040 have no clue on how to programm it using programming cable and a computer. my old one you just programmed it by hand

Keep in mind that a WS1040 is really a repackaged PSR-500 from GRE; therefore most anything written for the 500 is going to work. There is a link in the above article for manual programming, and at the bottom, is the link for the Easier to Read manual

thanks i am i darke county ohio would like to know how to use pc/if cable to program. I have no idea where to even start like i said my last one i programmed manually.
