I parked my Jeep Liberty in our garage today after cleaning garage out. Closed the garage door and went in the house. Later when I went out I noticed garage door open about 6 inches. I wondered hy it did not close all the way and then realized why. The release handle for the garage door caught my dual band antenna which has a coil in it. Anyway, the garage door riped the antenna right out of the roof of my car.

Any ideas about fixing it, etc? I am depressed.

Stay safe,

Kevin

NMO permanent mount antenna, mag mount?
If it is / "was" an NMO mount, did it damage the base in any way?

Talk about one in a million. You probably couldn't make it do that again if you tried. Just bad luck I guess.

And get a new ant. NMO ants are less expensive than the base/mount.
Take care of the vehicle first and foremost.
