What kind of scanner do you have?

Barstow Fire is on 154.070 and on the DESCOM EDACS trunking system. AMR uses 463.0125. The Barstow PD are on San Bernardino System #2 and sometimes carried on System #8 as well.

PRO-82 is great for all the conventional stuff that gdjelin listed, but as you've found, it will not monitor the trunked radio systems like are used by some of the agencies you are trying to catch. At a minimum, you need a BC246T, PRO-97 or other analog trunked scanner to get those comms.

Well, I'm partial to the BCT15 (but hardly unbiased). You might want to look at all the models over in the for the Uniden, RadioShack, and GRE offerings. Newest models are at the top of the page.
