i just received my new bc250d with p25 card. i have programmed our local police department. im lost at programming the trunk frequencys.
im trying to program the city of elgin ill. here are the frequencys and ids

855.2125 id 1648
859.2125 id 1680
866.3250 id 1712
866.3250 id 1744
868.6250 id 1776

im new at this and need lots of help. thanks for any and all replys

Welcome to the group!

It looks like you are trying to match up a talkgroup ID with a frequency. If so, this is not how a trunked system works.

We'll help you get pointed into the wind and with a tiny bit of work on your part .. you'll be out of the newbie stage and in the air before you know it. Now for the 5 cent tour. (sorry, no dog and pony show today .. that is extra).
