For those in the greater Henderson/Las Vegas area you may find monitoring the SNACC TRS ID 58000 to be most interesting at times. Today, and recently much surveillance traffic could be heard but many times the officers became very informal with one another to the point of making fun of each other and using four letter words over the radio. Something different and all non-encrypted. See the Southern Nevada Radio Scanner Book for more info. about the SNACC system and the many talk groups used on it including Henderson PD.

Reminds me of listening to a US Customs surveillance where the agents were bored and were cracking jokes over the radio. After a while, Sector came up and told them to knock it off. HAHA.... Got a kick out of that.
