I believe that 16-10 is a Napoleon Fire Ops channel. They page on their main channel and have been switching to 16-10 when enroute. If you can hear their paging, which is also being simulcast on their VHF channel, the dispatcher will assign them an Ops channel when paging.

Gotcha. I doubt I’m hearing everything at my location because I can only hear when they come over the Lucas Simulcast or Wauseon sites. I did hear traffic on 16-10 with units giving their location to the dispatcher (at the hospital, in quarters, etc).

Just heard EMS to Hospital traffic on Operations 16-9. I didn't catch the identification of the EMS unit or the hospital. The Hospital TGID was 3569526 and the EMS unit TGID was 3564519.

Received EMS paging traffic this morning on new TGID 13760. Unit ID sending the tone-outs and announcing the run was 3569529. I did not receive a response from an EMS unit before having to turn the radio off and head into work.

Here is the information I have been able to gather to date.

Henry Co. Sheriff, as of this date, is still operating on MARCS-IP primary control channel of 773.30625, and the alternate control channel is 771.28125, as well as these channels: 770.20625, 770.60625, 771.00625, with the TGID of 54806. They will be switching over to the Northwest Ohio Regional Public Safety System soon, but the exact date is still unknown.

Henry County Fire and EMS, and Napoleon Police, Fire and EMS are now operating on the Northwest Ohio Regional Public Safety System primary control channel of 771.70625 as well these channels: 771.71875, 772.13125, 772.14375, 772.63125, 772.64375, from a tower located in the Hamler, Ohio area.

Their TGID's are as follows:

All these talkgroups are already in the database, the usage just needs updated. Also, talkgroup 13758 is not 16-1, as none of the ops channels on the NWOPSRS have a channel 1, they all start with 2 I.E. 9-2, 10-2, 16-2 etc.

Channel 1 is programmed in the radios on most of the zones as the home dispatch talkgroup.

All these talkgroups are already in the database, the usage just needs updated. Also, talkgroup 13758 is not 16-1, as none of the ops channels on the NWOPSRS have a channel 1, they all start with 2 I.E. 9-2, 10-2, 16-2 etc.

The information I received about 13758 being 16-1 came from a County Fireman/EMT who went to the organizational meeting where the information was distributed to the departments. He may have been mistaken.

Henry Sheriff is switching to the NWOPSRS system on the 20th of this month. There is no Ops 16-1 channel, they begin with 16-2. That channel is the primary "enroute" channel for county fire and EMS. If that becomes too crowded, they will be given another ops channel beginning with 16-3.

That could have been the Sheriff dispatch channel but I'm not entirely sure, I don't have the TG number right now . Radio service was there that day fixing an issue with background noise on that channel. When I get the TGID I'll be sure to post it.

I Programed all them channels into my bcd 996 p2 uniden scanner. Get no signal on bars and always displays NFM Please let me know why this is
