Recently loaded NY DEC into the 996P2....
CONSTANT back and forth with the SCADA on the Statewide R4-PD... and not much else through the entire system.

A few other heavy posters in the forums had commented on another thread when I was looking for a SCADA decoder for ECWA.
It seemed odd to them that I was looking to see just how much sh*t flows down-hill for curiosity sake. Just figured they'd have another chuckle at my expense.

It is imported because it is a State frequency but, as it says, it is Region 4 which is the Albany area. So it is not used in Erie County. The same is true of all DEC Region frequencies. Erie County is Region 9. So delete or lock out frequencies not in your area if you don't want to hear unrelated local activity.

It's cool that I can pick it up, I do lock it out but I do kinda wish I could decode it. I THINK I know where it's coming from but can't be certain.
