here's an idea for the pro 95

i was sitting here thinking about the fact that it would be useful to have a secondary pager at night. or if i'm out on in the town. due to the fact that sometimes dispatch isnt all that reliable. I'm looking ay my 95 and i wonder if it is at all possible to modify the weather section and it's alert to act as a pager. Does anyone know if it is at all possible of is it just my imagination running away from me? if anyone thniks it's possible could you give me some tips on doing it or if someone has actually done it, will they share their knowledge?

Doubtful. It would take some fundemental changes to the instruction set of the radio.

where can i get some information on the 396 at so i can look over it and start saving? :lol: finally a multi use scanner that all firefighters can use!

Check here on the RR, and check Yahoo groups for info about the scanner. The cost is going to be about $530 and it isn't out yet.
