Several years ago you could monitor the Hernando county tone outs on just two vhf frequencies, one for the east side and one for the west side. Recently iv'e been trying to find the new tone outs with no luck. I believe I heard a while ago that the tone outs were in incorporated into the new p25 p1 radio system when it was installed several years ago. Does anyone have any information on this? All info will be greatly appreciated!

Just FYI Hernando is still a Motorola Rice Krispies (analog) system, not P25 P1.

I believe that like you mentioned, the tone outs were worked into the new (at the time) system. I listened for activity on those freqs years ago, but never had any luck.

Rice Crispies, crackin' me up with that. I do recall those days of crackle noise with all the simulcasting.
