Sam has returned! Sam has been heard again on the old frequencies of 3.700 mhz, 4.300 mhz, 6.500 mhz, 10.500 mhz and on WWV frequencies of 10 and 15 MHz

Nobody's going to take action against the United States Army. It's tests of a new comms system recently partially deployed in Iraq. Research and development is being conducted at Fort Monmouth NJ and the transmissions are coming from a test range near Alba-koiky where Bugs Bunny should have taken that left toin. Forget about that schedule, Sam can turn up on any frequency at any time and lately doesn't even sound like himself. When last heard by me in the 80M ham band it was computer generated gibberish followed by a data burst. E-mail me at kb2vxa@swissinfo.org and request the mp3s.
