hex to dec on trunker

I am monitoring a new federal system just coming online in the 406-420 mhz range, and in trunker it shows the hex format of the voice frequency, what program will convert that to the 400 mhz freq.?
In other words, it shows 0x27c on trunker, I want a program that will convert it to the correct 400 mhz freq? Thanks

Where in Trunker are you seeing this? It appears as though "0x27c" is a talkgroup not a frequency. Meaning that 0x27c is a talkgroup on the frequency of the trunked system you are monitoring.

With all the confirmed control channels that have showed up, I have had to go in and manually changes them to the 400 mhz freqs., this one of 0x27c shows up in the line of freqs., with "v" beside it for voice channel.

There is a newer release of Trunker (more specically a modification) that allows you to set the base/offset/spacing of the sysetm and the program automatically calculates the voice channels.

I could be wrong, but I thought the hex values that appear on the left in Trunker can't be converted to the frequencies used by the trunking system. The hex values are just what the system uses to refer to that channel, not necessary a frequency.

I convert them frequently if known, and my experience is if not converted you will not hear the broadcast on the parked radio.

True... But if you map out the base/offset/spacing in the new trunker, the program will calculate what those HEX channels are in actual frequencies.

OK, I understand now. I'll have to download the new version of Trunker and check out that feature. Sounds cool...
