While we're on the subject: how about a forum for each province in Canada?

Yes, let's ask Mike if he would like to moderate
ten more forums!
It seems that only Ontario,Saskatchewan,Alberta,B.C. and rarely
Quebec and NFLD participate.
It would be viable if more postings were made, we just don't have
enough traffic.
I don't mean to hijack the message thread, but there are a number of things I'd like to point out about this. I agree there are not a lot of posts in the Canada forums, but I share the sentiments that the forums should be split by province or at least section of Canada - at some rate, if not necessarily now. Frequently one happens across a post with references to "Zone 2 help needed" or somesuch similar. What I'm getting at is, people are assuming that everyone knows they mean the new Ontario smartzone systems when there is a whole lot of other landmass and radio usage in this country as well. Granted, I do read every message I can in the Canada forum, and at least glance over pretty much everywhere else - even in the state forums that I don't have any chance of monitoring or contributing to. However, it'd be nice, especially in a forum that covers an entire
country, if folks could try to use more descriptive subject lines.
Speaking as a long time user and operator of many different types of forums, I don't think the Canada forum will need to be broken up into provinces until the point at which the traffic for, say, a day spans more than one page of "new posts since last visit". Know what I mean?
As well... who says that "Mike" would have to moderate all the forums? For example, I'm in Alberta and am rather knowledgable about radio and scanning, plus I'm a longtime message forum user and operator (since before the Internet).
Just my two cents...
