I would like to see the priority on a trunked system when one is listening to a hold id. Just like the older trunked scanners..thats the downfall with the BCD396T scanner.

If you hold on a talkgroup, you have given it exclusive priority. If you want to monitor two talkgroups only, put them in a group and turn other groups off.

Trunked system priority is very ineffective because the scanner leaves the control channel when a talkgroup in the scan lists (groups) becomes active. Uniden may have removed the feature to make room in the firmware code for other features that are more useful.

I am aware how this works on the BCD396T, but having this feature on the previous scanners and not the new ones is going backwards in time. When I want to monitor say a fireground and want the fire dispatch channel to be monitored as well while fireground is in the hold/priority selection, your term, and trafic is on dispatch I would like to hear that while in a hold mode. All the previous Uniden scanners have it why not the newer ones.
