Hey UPMAN whats up with this?

The 996 isn't picking up all the transmissions on the starcom21 trunked system I'm monitoring. I'm picking up traffic on the same tower off the 796 and nothing on the 996... this is a crop of S&&& that the price we paid for this scanner and still no solution to this problem. Maybe in stead of using the older Uniden scanners as a door stop the 996 could be the new door stop. When is this minor issue going to be fixed and if not when do we get our refund.

JPM, down here in Joliet my 396 H/H model does very well on the Starcom-T113-D5, T101-Dupage and a few others on 700 and 800, been using a Channel Master 5094A with 9913 coax about 25 miles from T101-Dupage tower and it skips nothing...My RS-PRO96 and 2096 do very well on the Grundy tower 800mgz -T125 using same antenna.....I was going to buy the 996 til i have read the same problem from others so i will wait for the new GRE-PSR500-600....
