HF ALE activity from US DVA/ AIRINC Urgentlink Nets?

The last couple of days I've had no activity on both of those nets from my location on West coast of Canada and am wondering if anyone else has noticed a decline on activity? I had my receiver on overnight scanning for activity and this is the first time in recent memory where I did not receive any stations overnight where before both nets had lots of activity.
Wondering with the current government re structuring in the US, if systems like this could be shut down or become inactive suddenly ?

Well we did just have a class X1 flare hit - no doubt the ionosphere is going to be a bit squirrely for a few days. Did you check propagation sites? You should....

Yeah, that makes sense, guess I jumped to conclusions.. thanks for the reply and the reminder to pay attention to the propgation

It appears to be dead for the time being. It might get repurposed later on who knows.
