HF+Discovery simple DMR and simple APCO not working

Hi all,
Fairly happy new owner of HF+Discovery. I am able to use simple DMR and simple APCO plugins with my airpsys, but
the HF+Discovery is not giving me any audio decode for these plugins. Has anyone made this work and what settings did you
use?

Also, I have encounter an intermittent big where the frequency display in SDR# does not track properly if, when the hf+discovery is already running, I change between sample rates. Is this just me/something I'm doing wrong?

I will say, overall, rather sensitive and selective receiver, but I really hope to do some digital decoding with it.

Update. I got it working, at least for the use case of Simple DMR plugin I was able to test (I don't have VHFp25). What I found was that
there is a brief delay before any decoding occurs, and the first syllable or so that is decoded audio is low in volume, before what seems like some type of AGC kicks in the the volume is more audible, but still very low compared to analog.
