I've always heard Andrews better than Offutt on the west coast, so not sure how this one will come it.

what is the freq. in Montana to listen to this

Read the 2 links that were given in previous messages of this thread. You will need a receiver capable of SSB reception and a good antenna, preferably outdoors and away from the home. We have lots of information on both in our wiki - using the pulldown in the blue toolbar, mouse over wiki then click on HF Radio Topics

A good rule of thumb is to listen to 10 mhz or so and higher during the day, lower at night, propagation permitting.

Hey Dave, if I'm not mistaken, Andrews operates a network of stations and even though the operator says Andrews, the actual transmission may or may not be. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

I sent that in to Monitoring Times...I heard DAKOTA from Burbank. The night before OFFUTT was handling all the traffic so it surprised me. (and last night I heard Elmendorf for the first time)
