I have a technical question related to the HF radio sets used by the WW II Soviet intelligence rings in Europe, particularly by Die Rote Kapelle in Germany and Die Rote Drei in Switzerland. Could the Soviets have used US-designed and Soviet-made Jack (Dzhek) or the RPO-4 HF transceivers with these spy rings?

A document published by Cryptomuseum mentioned the Tensor as a mid-WW II Soviet spy set, but since Die Rote Kapelle was liquidated by the Germans in 1942 I am not sure if it was too early for this set to be fielded.
