FNG here saying hello, this seemed like the right spot.
I've been interested in radio for a while but never really did anything about it until a week ago. I used to scan aircraft with my uncle who was a pilot, that got me started.
Currently listening to anything and everything I can pick up on a Yaesu FT-60R. I'd like to get my license soon so I can actually use my PTT button! I've kept the clear film over it so it will have that new button feel when I finally do get to use it.
Interested in radio groups and things like that, I really don't know that much about what I've tossed myself into except what I've read so far.
I'm off to read through the forums and see what I can see.
