Hey there! Does anyone have any information about the 800Mhz trunked system belonging to High Peak Communications in Lynchburg? Believe its a Motorola Type II system. I put it in my scanner and am getting traffic, very seldomly, on TG 37952 I believe. Here's a link to the FCC ULS information on it. http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseFreqSum.jsp?licKey=1166461

Any information on this system? It's not listed in the RR database...

Hey,

I did a little investigating of that system back in the spring. I believe the company that owns the system leases out space on it to local companies. I only ever saw 3 or so talkgroups ever show up when listening. From what I heard I believe one of the users is a natural gas or propane company. Most of the traffic I heard was during business hours. Sorry I don't know more about it, but I hope what I told you helps.

By the way I have not seen much action in your yahoo group lately.
