Hi,
I'm a flaming newbie. Still trying to understand what the 2,3,4 & 5 digit numbers mean. In the meantime, does anybody know the frequency for HP Regional Hospital ER? Is it hiding behind one of those 4-digit numbers I don't understand?
Thanks,
Kevin

All Ems units encoding HPRH are on or patched to the Guilford 800 mhz trunked system on talkgroup # 9168.The Guilford units are on the 800 system. The out of county units are patched in from 155.340 with 127.3 hz tone. Not sure about any other High Point Hospital freqs.

Thanks, Randy. Just as I suspected: It's hidden in one of the mysterious numbers--9168. I realize it's the number of the talk group and, one day, I'll figure out how to use it!

"Mysterious numbers"

I don't know what type of scanner you ae using but the TG number can be used to make up a scan list of only the traffic you want ot listen to.........Like High Point hospital and not force you to listen to the "whole system" and sort out the traffic you want to listen to.

Newer scanners will let you alias the TG number to an alphanumeric label. For example the scanner can programmed to display "High Point Hospital" when ever TG 9168 is active.
