Televised chase involving El Monte Police and briefly the CHP. This fool won't stop.
Why do I care about this one? Because it's very near to where I live and I'm following the PD. Also, El Monte is digital so if you don't have a digital scanner you won't be able to hear them.

Edit: He keeps going in circles so I would assume he lives somewhere in the area and probably trying to ditch the car. His efforts are futile.
2220: Suspect is believed to be armed with a handgun.
2225: Police are in contact with suspect by cell phone, he indicates that he has a full tank of gas and won't stop until he runs out. There are two suspects in the car.
2235: Spike strips deployed successfully, car stopped and they're being taken into custody.
2235: Spike strips deployed successfully, suspect car stopped and police are being taken out of the car. They're now in custody.
2235: Spike strips deployed successfully, suspect stopped.
2235: 2nd failed at deploying spike strips, suspect just went around them.
2228: Car hit spike strips, won't be long now. Correction, spike strips deployed but they did not work.
