We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Hi, I know someone answered this question a long time ago, but I can't find the answer. Does the highway patrol in Lee county use ProVoice? I hope I can hear them with my old analog scanner. If not, then I'll just listen to the county's public service TRS.

Bye

Ok, thanks for the reply. I remember the days when I was able to listen to the Florida Highway Patrol on the 154 MHz band.

I'll go program Lee county's public service into my scanner. I might also program the frequencies for Florida's department of highways frequencies.

Bye
