Hello. The database is now showing Mayfield Village in Cuyahoga county is now using 19456 on the MARCS system for ems. Ems only? That mean's Hill Crest ER (TG??) has to have there MARCs radio and i will have to find out if Lake West has one since they go there also. Wonder if all the Hill Crest med control departments will get MARCS radios/hts. They were using cell phones. I have not heard anything on the Wickliffe site like squad calls being paged. There dispatch freq is 424.350

They are not using MARCS for contacting any ERs. This is for EMS runs only for the FD. No ER contacts are being made except via the usual ways (cell phone)

I have only heard/seen them active on the Chesterland site on ocassion. Per the Chief, they got a grant and hope to move all their day to day ops to MARCS. I have to question their motive as they just upgraded their repeater on 424.350 and have no problems with it. Also, from what I have been told, MARCS is not going to be utilized in major metro areas (Cleveland. Toledo, Columbus, etc...) for any day to day ops by any agencies since there are not enough channels on the sites to handle that amount of traffic.
