Hillsboro Police - NEW

Caught this tonight and it is a new one to me.
Can anyone confirm if this is Hillsboro Police and
what the exact use is?

159.345 PL 110.9

Heard an RP on a vehicle from Washington Court House,
and since that is the standard PL tone for Highland County.
2+2= Hillsboro.

Hillsboro PD Channel 1 is 155.430

I have it in my ar8200 labelled as Hillsboro PD Channel 2. Hope that sheds some light for you.

Thanks, we confirmed it sometime ago as the input to
155.4300 as listed here in the rr database.

Now when you say they use it as Ch. 2, does that
mean they use it as simplex without the tones to talkaround
the repeater?

To tell you the truth I`m not sure. I`ve not paid attention enough to differentiate the details on this frequency.I may ask my grandfather (he worked for the city for years) he should know (haha the source of my scanner addiction.
