Hillsborough Police, San Mateo County, seems to be using (what is listed in the RR Data base and other frequency sites) their secondary frequency (484.8625) as their primary dispatch channel. I don’t hear anything on what is listed as their primary frequency (488.3375). Has anyone else noticed this?

Nobody?

Seems I've stumped the Northern California Police frequency listeners. The FCC Data base sill shows 488.3375 as Hillsborough's primary channel, yet they continue to operate on 484.8625 as their primary. Perhaps the wealthy citizens of Hillsborough did not like the idea of sharing their assigned 488.3375 with another agency, so when the County S.O. and related offices when to the P25 trunked system, Hillsborough took the 484.8625 when it became available.

I'd be happy to read if anyone else, or anyone from the SMCO radio service team that have "inside knowledge".
