I am on the nw side of okc 39th area. Am I to far away to hear hobby lobby traffic? Also trying to hear oklahoma county courthouse maintence.

ok thanks. I know i havnt heard any traffic on the Hamm and phillips truck channels aswell. those would have to hit repeaters? i mean they run state wide.

You should be able to hear the Hobby Lobby DMR trunked system if you have an external antenna in your area. NW 39th area is elevated compared to Hobby Lobby, but the hill is NW 10th-16th area...might give you a little issue with reception.

my problem is probably that i do not have a external antenna. just the stock antenna that comes with the sds 100. is there a better antenna that you reccomend?

I have never heard anything from the Hobby lobby, Hamm and phillips, and county courthouse maintence. I do hear integris very well. could be that i am close to there.
