DIA just reported a snow emergency. Denver(KDEN) is down to one Runway...

"Hold and divert to alternate" equals a stressful day for everyone!

Any idea how many took the alternate and which airport(s) they were?

Seemed like 80% diverted. Some of the smaller planes went to COS and PUB, I saw SWA's divert to Albuquerque and Amarillo. Seems like every time the digital ATIS was updated, the pilots spoke up and requested to leave their hold.

my 6pm fight to vancouver was delayed 2,5 hours waiting for faa tp reopen runway,and deice our plane

It's not so bad being a pilot if you're at home and aren't called out to fly in the craziness. Of course, it would have been nice to get out and above all the mess and see the sun for a few hours, even if it meant coming back to DEN eventually.
