BCD996XT: Hold, Delay & P25 Wait times, Squelch settings

For the first 3 above, I'm seeing 0, 2, 400 as defaults. I read where the P25 wait time setting to "0" is optimum, is this the case, can't really tell from my experiences from the default. Currently hold and delays are @ 0 and 1 respectively and "0" for P25 Wait time. As for squelch, not sure where to set, any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

Did you ever think that it might just help to let us know what make and model number of the scanner your using.

What type of radio system are you trying to listen to? What agency and state?

(He did, the BCD996XT is the UNIDEN digital scanner.) But yes please tell us your P25 system you are trying to monitor, and by the way have you had a look at the easier to read manual for the 996xt? Take a look here Easier to Read BCD996XT Digital Scanner Manual
