Why is it that when I am listening to Hollywood PD, specifically East Dispatch, I on occasion I get a digital tone coming out of the scanner instead of actual talking? I do have a digital scanner (Pro-96) and the majority of the time I actually hear voices.

Is it a glitch that randomly happens? The scanner does say it is a digital signal (DG as opposed to MO). Does anyone else experience this problem from time to time?

I have 1 more question that just came to me and rather post it here than opening another thread. What the heck is a Signal 2. I cannot find info for this Signal anywhere.
