First Pictured here is my home shack with my new personally built radio cabinet.

Pictured from top to bottom are as follows:

Kenwood NX 700 VHF
Kenwood TM V71A Dual Band
Jetstream JTPS28 Power Supply

The bottom shelf houses all of the portable chargers and two portable scanners:
Motorola HT1000 UHF S split
Kenwood NX 200-K2 VHF
Kenwood TK 5320-K3 UHF
Radio Shack Pro-24
Radio Shack Pro-404

Antennas not pictured on roof are as follows:
MFJ-1754 Dual Band Antenna
Comet GP-1 Dual Band Antena

Pictured next is my brand new 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Se:

In the Jetta are:
Kenwood NX 700 VHF
Kenwood TM V71A Dual Band

They are the same two radios as pictured above. I move them back and fourth between the house and the car.

The antennas pictured are both:
Diamond MR77 SMA mag mount antennas.

To me and this is just me having that one Antenna up on the Roof of your car at the position it is looks to be a little unsafe..

And if for some unseen reason it would get knocked off it may Damage Quit a bit of your Vehicle which as Radio Geek I would hate to see..

To pass on too ya there is a company that sells Great antenna's and accessories that I think would put your antenna's in position that is a little safer and will give you Great results while using your Radio.. here is the Company.

Even just move those mag mounts to one either side edge of the trunk

I've always had an antenna on the roof like that even with my old car. The magnet on these diamonds are insane. Hopefully after the lease is up I will just drill holes and put nmo's in anyway, but thanks for the concern.
