HOME PAGE TOO WIDE

This is the third or fourth day that the home page comes up too wide for my monitor. This has never been a problem. I realize that in the "FORUMS" the problem can occur if someone post a large picture or ?text.
I do have a four year old PC with lousy dial up internet, but this is a new problem. Just thought I'd ask if I'm the only one having this problem.

That's just downright mean Erik :lol: .
As I said, I have an old PC with ?800 X 600? resolution, BUT I have never had this problem in the last year. I suppose, after one more Friday night beverage, it wont make much difference .

I agree I dont want to have to use a microscope to read the posts if I go to the 1k resolution. There must be some way to fix this.

Jerry put the beverage down for a minute. Download the lastest driver for your video card. If it's Nvidia based video card go to www.nvidia.com and download the lastest driver. There self executable so all you have to do is click on the download and follow the instructions. After you have rebooted your computer go into the control panel and set your display settings to 1024*768 or whatever setting suits you.

If your video card is ATI based (Radeon) go to www.Ati.com
and do the same thing.

I sent a PM to Lindsay. He will take care of it. In the mean time, you just have to scroll a little. Don't bother changing your monitor resolution unless you are comfortable playing with hardware drivers.

I'm running at 1280x1024, on a 19" LCD panel, and I experience the same thing on occasion. It's not your PC. This web site's software does not properly word-wrap the text at times.

Tiny URL fixes this problem everytime...I wish more people would use this awesome free service...and for the firefox users out there there is a TinyURL extension that incorporates TinyURL into firefox

While this is true, if everyone would do what you did, that is use the URL code available here, it wouldn't be a problem either; and if everyone, (including you :lol: ) would use the underline when referencing a URL it would be better yet.

Do do it right, your reference should have been:
Tiny URL instead of Tiny URL.
