Home patrol 1 favorites list marcs and anolog help

Just bought a home patrol 1. The area I live in uses marcs but still uses conventional analog for some of the small town fire and police dispatch. I put the marcs system and the conventional systems in my favorites list the scanner will not switch off the Marcs system am I doing something wrong or is this normal I bought the extream upgrade thinking it would fix it but no luck
