I've programmed a separate "department" called I-CALL and added a channel called I-CALL with the TG of i0 on an EDACS system. However, when I am locked on a completely separate department, I am still getting I-CALLs coming through. ID search is turned off for the system. Interestingly enough, the department is displayed as "unknown" when an I-CALL comes through when I'm holding on a different department. This is more of an annoyance at this point as there are not rempant I-CALLs on the system, but I could see it being a real P.I.T.A if you're trying to monitor a specific department and you keep getting I-CALLs from other unrelated users.

What happens if you just lockout the i0 talkgroup?

Wait, I think there is a system wide setting for iCalls on some of the Unidens for EDACS systems.
If that is on, I think it will override everything and still allow iCalls through.

What exact model Uniden scanner are you talking about here?

According to the heading of his post, he's using a Home Patrol. I have a HP-1 myself but haven't tried anything with i-calls. Maybe I can try to tinker with it tomorrow.
