Home Patrol 1 - Problems w/ a TRS system

My Home Patrol 1 will resume scanning before a user un-keys his radio. I have also noticed it will sometimes resume scanning as soon as the user un-keys(ie. no delay). I have this same problem with my BCD996xt too.

This is the system I'm having problems with:

Johnson County Public Safety (Project 25) System Trunking System, Various, Iowa - Scanner Frequencies

On the 996 you can set the delay and hold time, can't on the HP but I have not had any trouble on any of the systems that I have tried it on doing this.

I understand that, the 996 isn't holding for my pre-determined delay setting all the time. Its almost like the 996 and HP1 can't handle the system properly.

Although you shouldn't have to do this try setting the Moto End Code to On and see what happens... stranger things have happened!

A function described as "Moto End Code" having an effect on a P25 system ... nothing stranger has ever happened

I have tried it on and off, doesn't help.
