HP-2: Home Patrol 2 question

I have had my HP-2 since 2020 and have never had a problem with it, until now. It will not power up. I have replaced the batteries, but it is connected to a power outlet, too. I have changed the cords and the power brick to the outlet and all 4 AA batteries. I had alkaline batteries in previously and it worked. It seems like it should power up with just the power cord, right? But it is not powering up at all. Any sugge\stions?

Suggest trying another SD card.

The HP-2 will power up with no batterys and just USB power...
If the MicroSD card is bad you may see the message like below for a few seconds when trying to power it on... Then it will turn off...



I still would try another SD card though...

If you pull the MicroSD card out and try to power it up and don't see the message as posted above...
I think your radio might have other issues...
