Home Patrol Antenna Upgrade

I am upgrading the stock antenna that comes with the homepatrol. I ordered the radioshack 800mhz antenna.

I have no idea what adapters im going to need for the antenna so that it will work.
If someone could link me to the adapters I need I would really appreciate it.

One of those adapters should have come with the HP. Check the packaging well.

The hp comes with the sma to bnc adaptor so you should only need the right angle bnc elbow.

Its a good upgrade by the way. If you spend most of your time listening to trunked systems in the 700-800 mz range then this is the best antenna for the radio. Vhf low will suffer a bit but theres not a lot there to listen to anymore. Makes the radio a lot more sensitive in the 800 band than the stock.

I think so. Got one with HP-1 a couple years ago and also with HP-2 last fall.
