New unit. When I tried quick set up, during usb hook up I received an error message

"cabinet file is corrupt" 51C424DDIF82F28D77CHECF9B411D25AV"

Is there a way around this or should I return it?

Sent 4 emails to Uniden customer service and no reply- been a month. Called today and no answer for 20 minutes, left a message.

That correct. Not sure what the problem is, but it is with your PC, not the HP-1.

If you plug in a USB thumb drive, does it work?

Run a complete scan disk that checks the complete disk for errors(requires restart) and when your done a defrag wouldn't hurt either. that should patch the cab file

The DL worked great. I updated the firmware, HPDB, and "wrote to home patrol".
Is there anything else I should do?
