HP-2: Home Patrol II error message

Remove battery & external power for 1 minute. If problem persists restore data using sentinel all clear.

Have done the above, unable to restore using sentinel all clear, as unit will not keep powered up.

Suggestions ?

I would try a new card. The Uniden supplied cards are el-cheapo.

I only use SanDisk Class 10 cards and have never had any errors with them.

The high endurance cards cost about the same, and can handle more read/write transactions before they lose format. Uniden is now also recommending them because of problems people are having with the originals.
