My mom is 86 and has had a scanner that have I programed for years. She wanted a new one with the MARCS because her county has changed to the new radios. She lives only 9 miles from the repeater but can't get anything on the Home Patrol. I took it home with me 25 miles away and I can receive my locals. Is there anything that can be done so she can hear? I see nothing on Uniden's web site.
