Home Patrol; unknown talkgroups; and favorites lists

All in one question no less LOL.

Been a while since I've posted concerning my HP-1, but I've come up with a question I can't seem to find the answer to.

I know when the HP-1 is scanning, I can save a frequency to a favorites list, but can a talkgroup be saved to a favorite list? I see that when I press 'advanced' and it goes to the next menu, the 'Add to Favorite Lists' option is not highlighted, so I know it's not an option that way. Is the only way to do this through the software?

I hope this made sense. Thanks in advance for any info provided.

If you hit the Advanced button on an Unknown talkgroup, it will give you the option to do a Quick Save.
It will also activate the Custom 1 service tag.

Once you know what it is you are listening to, then you can assign it to its correct Department in your favorite list(s).

Is that part of the extreme upgrade? I don't seem to be seeing that when locked on an unknown talkgroup.
