i have 2 homepatrol 1 just updated both 1 database version 10/5/2020 the other one 5/6/2018 why didnt they both update any ideas?

The current database update is 11/01/2020

Did you "write" to both scanners from Sentinel after updating the database in Sentinel? Check page 6 of your owner's manual for step by step updating instructions.... be sure both scanners have up to date firmware as well.

yes used sentinel to try both 1 updated the other one didnt

Do you have the current firmware in both scanners?

If you don't have the 11/01/2020 database in both scanners, neither one of them updated.

both have firmware 2.06 database 1 has 05/06/2018 other 10/25/2020

Neither one of your scanners has the updated database... the current updated database is 11/01/2020

Be sure you are using the current version of HomePatrol Sentinel as well...Version 2.03.02.

Do both scanners go into the "Mass Storage" mode before you write to the scanners?

You may want to check for corrupted SD cards if following the update directions on Page 6 of the manual still doesn't work.

not sure why its not working , i even did restore factory settings and reset behind batteries after doing factory restore it now has database
11/1/2020 ??
