HP-2: home patrol2 programming issues

i just purchased the home patrol 2
first time using it i entered my postal code and downloaded all the sites for thunder bay as well as minnesota , wisconsin and michigan
this was a long list and seemed to miss thunder bay sites just because of the numbers.
i then made a favorites list with only 5 conventional channels and the trunked bell fleet net for our area aptoximately 20 channels
when i scan this list it seems to scan the entire bell sites first then goes to the t bay conventional then back to bell.
is this normal as i think i am missing conversations on the conventional channels such as airpoty tower etc
my old whistler 1040 would scan all channels and pretty quickly to locate conversations
is the way this unit scans normal and is there a fix

If its scanning many sites it wont scan conventional until its done with the trunked. Once it scans conventional, it goes back to trunked. If your not going to take it out in the car you could delete or disable any site that are not in range.
