Just a bit of an update to my radio collection photos... Added a couple Motorola handhelds and a 197 since a year or two ago...
Pictured...
XTS 2500 800Mhz
MTS 2000 00Mhz
HT1000 UHF x2
HT1000 VHF
RS Pro 164
PS Pro 97 x2
RS Pro 197
RS Pro 163
Mac Mini
Not pictured is another 163 and 164 which are in a vehicle and a desk elsewhere. I've passed 10 radios...
I've moved since my last "shack photo" post. I previously enjoyed tons of conventional UHF and VHF over near Berkeley/Albany, CA... EBRCS is coming though, which will put a couple of these out of service in my new location, Contra Costa County. The boom mic is just a mic so I can talk w/ the wife when we both wear headphones. I'm not a ham, so its not for xmit.
The mixer takes the two base radios and a handheld (plus the computer and a mic). Programming the MOTs is achieved with a Dell mini-tower, stowed below, while the RS stuff is done with a Windows 7 Virtual Machine running on the Mac mini.
Cheers!
