I Use 2 Uniden MR-8100's for conventional freqs (usually have one dedicated to NYPD SOD and the other to NYPD Highway) Picked them up off of ebay a while ago. I like the way they look.
SDS-200 used primarily for P-25 transmissions
Uniden BCT-15X for scanning FDNY, EMS Citywide and assorted other departments
Uniden 536 for other trunking (NYC Doitt UHF, 700 mhz and 800mhz systems)
All are hooked up to a rooftop discone via a 4-way Stridesberg antenna splitter and one additional SP-1300 splitter from Scanner Master for one of the MR-8100's
All radios have external speakers
Use a SDS-100 when on the go
For mobile use in my work vehicle I have a Mototrbo XPR-4550, a BCT-15 with remote head and a HP-2. Hope to have a pic of that soon.
