I Use 2 Uniden MR-8100's for conventional freqs (usually have one dedicated to NYPD SOD and the other to NYPD Highway) Picked them up off of ebay a while ago. I like the way they look.
SDS-200 used primarily for P-25 transmissions
Uniden BCT-15X for scanning FDNY, EMS Citywide and assorted other departments
Uniden 536 for other trunking (NYC Doitt UHF, 700 mhz and 800mhz systems)
All are hooked up to a rooftop discone via a 4-way Stridesberg antenna splitter and one additional SP-1300 splitter from Scanner Master for one of the MR-8100's
All radios have external speakers

Use a SDS-100 when on the go

For mobile use in my work vehicle I have a Mototrbo XPR-4550,IMG_6842.jpg a BCT-15 with remote head and a HP-2. Hope to have a pic of that soon.

Interesting that a scanner made for law enforcement could so easily receive the cellular band, without modifying the hardware...

Are the 8100's the 2 in the back hanging on the wall?

Great setup! I really like the looks of those 8100s, they are cool. Too bad they are not programmable with alpha-tags for each channel. I would have one right here beside me on the wall dedicated to ham repeaters showing their callsigns. That would be too cool :)

Thanks for sharing!

You can program alpha-tags if you have the software that was out for it. And a a ancient computer to program it.

Didn't know that! Sounds like fun. I see the 8100s now and then for about $100, seen them as low as $75 too(eBay) You don't happen to remember the name of the software? I have an ancient computer here somewhere lol. Seriously, I might look into that - thanks mule!

I still have it written down on my Probe floppy disk I used for my Optoelectronics OS535 in the Radio Shack Pro-2042. :D Now a days you need to know Peril and can put together the hardware that acts like a stingray.

The 200 is superior on the simulcast p25 systems here in nyc. 536 is better on the analog frequencies as it does not have the intermod like the 200.
