Spooney: Just to be sure you are finding what you expect to find, have you watched:
Trunking Analysis - YouTube

You don't use serial mode at any step of viewing the Trunked (or Conventional) Analyzer in Sentinel.

Playing with the activity log and seeing some cool stuff, see that logs the I-Call and also some other stuff like TG Update, and Pat List (what ever that is).

Registration Key Code Not Working!

Getting Error . Registration Error

Contacted Uniden Support by phone. They are lost with this issue also.

1. Did you include the hyphens?
2. Does your Uniden login name end in "tham"? If so, the key for your account looks good, but I sent another one to the CS rep for you to try, just in case.

I think my original statement about the Trunking Analysis > Current Activity (along with Wise871's) may have been lost in all of the posts so I'll comment again.

When looking at activity on a 900 MHz Motorola system, it is erroneously displaying 800 MHz frequencies. This was also noted by Wise871 when viewing a 380 MHz system.

I'm guessing this is either a bug or a limitation?

Thanks.

Scott: I haven't had a chance to look into it, so can't really say. If it is a bug, we'll get a fix out. If it is a limitation, we'll explain the limitation. (Note that if it is a bug, I'll probably let it go into the "bug bucket" and see what else pops up over the next week or so before starting work on 2.01...).

From the HomePatrol_OM_V2_Extreme.pdf

For Windows 7, copy the Hp1WinVistaCom.inf file to the c:/windows/inf directory. When you select serial mode for the first time, Windows will find and install the driver.

Only see these two files in the HomePatrol_Serial_Drivers.zip
HomePatrol-1WinXpCom.inf
HomePartol1-WinVista7Com.inf

So
Hp1WinVistaCom.inf = HomePartol1-WinVista7Com.inf ? (new file name)

That's right (and if I can ever get access to the site, I'll upload a corrected O/M).

In Upmans original post, the link to the Sentinel update would not download when I clicked on it. A new window popped up, but just hung. So, I right mouse clicked on the link and "save as", and no problems then downloading it.

So this is just a tip for those having problems downloading Sentinel if your having the same issue I was having.

Cheers

Make sure you are looking at the dash and not the underline (just below the 7/8 keys in the 2nd row).

Ok, that's what I was doing wrong. What is the serial port option there for? Will it be able to be used for a Virtual Control if a program becomes available?
