I just hope we hear something on how the weekend went with the final release build they were testing. Depending on how thing went will determine the release date.

Could be a good sign!! Notice on the Homepatrol site there is about 30 guest and 9 logged in and one hidden. And we have 70 people here in the Uniden forum.

So what steps will we need to take to get the updates? Download the Sentinel software first, then the firmware, applied the firmware, and finally install the key and update the HomePatrol?

I always find these waiting threads entertaining. As excited as I am to check out the new software, I want to make sure they get it right. Who wants to read about how broken the new releases are?

Whew...just in time...maybe?

Taking my cue from the US Cavalry of old, I arrived at the Uniden product registration site and registered my HP-1 and got the upgrade at the intro price.... just in the nick of time (maybe??).

A HUGE thanks to Customer Service at ScannerMaster for emailing me the ESN of my unit. Just ordered it Sunday during the MA Tax-Free Weekend and it hadn't been shipped yet. Gutta love ScannerMaster!!

The waiting... on a few fronts... begins!
