Does anyone know of how many frequencies can be put on a Home Patrol with a 32 GB card?

Thanks all who respond.

I have an 8 gig card in mine, which works fine.
Since the entire database is stored on the card, I don't think there is really an issue about "number of frequencies". Since this is a location based scanner, it will only load the database for like three states at one time. Mine loads NY, NJ and CT, which might be the three biggest radio databases outside of what, maybe California? But even if I load the Data Base and enable all services and 30 mile range it just gives a message that with so many channels it will take forever to scan and allows me to do it.
Maybe there is a limit as to "favorites", but I have around 15 and they all fit on a 2 GIG card.

I think the only real limitation is as to recording. The bigger the card, the more recording space available.

Roughly 2000 times the number of channels currently in the database for USA and Canada.

So if you are speaking of a 32 gig card, then a 2 GIG card can hold roughly 125 times the latest database?

Sounds like more than enough to me.

The whole database fits on a rather small card - 2Gb or so. Favorites lists are relatively small, so they won't add a lot to your storage requirements.

The big advantage to a larger card is with record capacity. If you want to record lots of audio and keep it around for awhile, a big card is useful.
