hi,I updated my radios firmware .It shows firmware 03-04-2013.

That is not a mistake.

Uniden uses the American format for dates. (March - 4 - 2013) as opposed to the Canadian ascending order of Day - Month - Year.

That date has nothing to do with firmware. It is the revision date for the frequency database.

Current firmware for the Home Patrol is 2.04.01

Viewed on the Home Patrol "Version Information" screen, it will show

"Firmware Version: 2.04"

Nothing really but at least us Ontario types understand the difference between US and Canadian (World) ways of displaying the date.
